Tuition

Class payment is due on or before  a class session. Tuition is NON- REFUNDABLE. Tuition should  be paid online on this website

Class Enrollment

Yoruba for Kidz  has a minimum course enrollment of 5 students in a group class per session. Our policies state that classes with less than 5 enrolled students will be cancelled and postponed till the next session.  A full refund will be provided to  already registered candidates in the cancelled session.

Merging Classes

Yoruba for Kidz  reserves the right to merge or regroup Youth (ages 10-17 yrs)  and Kids ( 6-9yrs)  classes in any session’s classes to better suit the class learning goals. We understand that each child’s learning pace is different , and so will always consider a child’s age, learning needs, learning pace &  class composition before this is done. A general class  assessment will be done at the 1st class.  If a parent is unsatisfied with this merge, it must be communicated before the 2nd class. A  discussion is welcome or a one-time partial refund, less classes attended can be provided for that session to the parent.

Modifying Curriculum

Yoruba for Kidz  reserves the right to modify class curriculum in any group or session to better suit the students and overall  learning goals. We understand that each child’s learning pace is different, and so will always consider our student’s ages, learning needs, learning pace & class composition when this is done. A general class  assessment will be done at the 1st class.

Class Cancellation during a session

If classes are cancelled by Yoruba for Kidz, an email and/ a text will be sent out to parents or participants. Refund will be given to parent for the cancelled class, if a make up is not provided by Yoruba for Kidz.

Discipline

We will try to manage most situations using positive discipline strategies. If unable to handle the situation, the parents will be contacted to handle discipline.

Recording

We record our zoom meetings and use them sometimes for promotions or self assessment. We also request the use of some of the assignment videos turned in. Please send us an email to opt out and if you do not want your kids in this recordings, we will find ways to blur out their images or not use them at all.
